Atlanta is the most surveilled city in the United States. This map portrays represents roughly 12% of the Atlanta Surveillance network. The notion that surveillance is an inevitability that we have no power against is enforced by the lack of informed consent about what data is actually being gathered about us and why. The goals of this map are to address this lack of consent by illuminating the pervasiveness of the Metro Atlanta surveillance network, and by empowering citizens to take back power over their privacy by providing transparent information on the precise location of surveillance in the spaces they inhabit.
